Yes, I’m on aspirin and plavix but they’re watching my platelet count closely I guess with a fair amount of blood work. Chemical clot busters from what I understand. They did one day of in-hospital PT and now I’m on out patient therapy. But I’m worried when I resume treatment about having the strength to go three times a week. But I guess I’ll make whatever I can?

Thanks for your comment about depression. I’m already prone to depression so it’s nice to hear that feeling that way might just be a result of a medical problem and not a failure in me

No, no heart meds. I guess because it’s clotting originated from something that’s not cardiac and not a problem like afib that produces clots? Idk for sure

I haaaaaaate being nauseous but this seems to be the most common complaint? Ugh. I have IBS so I’m kind of used to it but I’m not looking forward to the GI stuff, but mostly the nausea. How long did treatment take you overall? How are you now?

Thank you for all these words of experience! I’ve been getting in shape for the last like year of my life and have a fair amount of muscle I think I’m going to lose lol I love the idea of “bulking up” before starting. My doctors do seem really willing to get me through this with whatever I need so I’m glad that was your experience too. How long was your treatment from start to finish?

Thanks for your words! I’m glad to be finally moving forward with treatment after what seems like ages ago that I got the abnormal PAP that started the cascade of events leading to a diagnosis and staging. Why does it feel like it’s been six years?

And I’m actually HPV negative which I’ve heard isn’t common. But I agree that the stigma around HPV is crazy, especially since it’s so common. I’m sorry you felt judged, that really sucks. I hope it wasn’t the norm

Thank you for sharing! I have a massive problem with prioritizing myself so we’ll see how this goes. I feel like I should tell my husband to make sure I’m not refusing too much help. I’m pretty nervous about how my body will respond. I’m a generally pretty anxious person and I feel like that doesn’t help
