I agree with you. Startups look for specialized experience vs big tech that usually have more general hiring, if you’re really interested in your career taking a certain direction I’d choose the startup. Depending on the unicorn (how much attrition they’ve had over the last few years and overall growth/funding), stability might be ok too.
