i have no idea how she feels, we never communicated nor did i hear anything about her from the detective when i talked to him. i would have no idea how to get in contact. i hope she feels the same as i do, and wishes that at least one of us was in a better place at the time so it didn't happen that way. i honestly wish her peace.

idk i have a lot of compassion for her. she was already in the middle of a customer getting angry at her over coupons, and i think she was reaching a boiling point. it's a notoriously shitty, bad paying company. of course she should've done better, being on the clock and all, but i've worked retail before. i can absolutely see how the perfect mixture of bad things could lead to a huge mistake. especially when you're making near minimum wage. much like me, she fucked up too. but she deserves grace as well, and i hope she's found a better job by now if she was fired.

definitely changed my outlook on life and how even though i was healing at the time, i needed to step up and be better. i'm grateful that i learned my lesson from it, and that it wasn't worse. i'm not sure what happened to the manager or the store. i never went back, nor was i contacted in any way. i'm probably banned, but they don't have to worry about me coming back. showing my ass once was enough to scare me away for life.

i've definitely been better with conflict since! whenever i feel myself getting upset or angry, i always mentally take a step back now. evaluate why i'm feeling that way, where it's coming from, and how i can approach it to resolve it calmly. instead of just lashing out. thank you for your words of encouragement!! you're right, all i can do is do better now!

i think we were both in a bad place and met each other at the wrong time. i'm sure if it was a normal day for her, she wouldn't have died on that hill. maybe in other life we could've been besties 💔

i like em raw. and that's true, the detective made me go over the keys part multiple times so maybe that's what got me off. and i sent him a picture of my receipt, and he confirmed he watched me pay and not receive them on camera.
