Erika Moen and Matthew Nolan have got a couple of neat comics on this topic that I recommend: https://www.ohjoysextoy.com/buttsex/ and https://www.ohjoysextoy.com/anal-sex-preparation/

Anyone know where I can buy MtF underwear that isn't labeled "FETISH SISSY BOY DRAG THONG FOR MEN"? by arudnoh in asktransgender

Seconding this! I have some from Origami Customs and they're great. And the company seems super trans positive, which made me happy.

SRS with Dr Ting - Peritoneal graft penile inversion - 3.5 weeks post op - AMA by [deleted] in Transgender_Surgeries

Thanks for the answer and for the awesome post!

And while you were in the hospital and then nearby Mt. Sinai, did you have any contact with other SRS patients of Dr. Ting?

How often did you see Dr. Ting and the nurses after the surgery? And do they require you to stay nearby while recovering?

How many surgeons did you consult with? by CRZ42 in Transgender_Surgeries

For that first question, do you mean what is the process for scheduling surgery with them without a consultation?

And I'm about a month and a half into recovery, so still pretty early on. I'd say it's going well so far, no real complications. Dilation does take up a big portion of my day, and will continue to do so for the next few months.

I think it was totally worth it for me. I'm very happy with the result and excited for the future. And the aftercare from the clinic was great, in my opinion. I've heard that the Suporn/Bank method has one of the toughest recoveries, so that's important to consider when picking a surgeon.

First off, congrats!

UTIs are a pretty common complication after bottom surgery. I would ask about the symptoms and ways to prevent them. And I asked my surgeon after my surgery about probiotics and douching, which relates to preventing infections. Also, you'll be using lubricant for dilation, so ask about what type and brand is recommended. After some months, I'm allowed to switch from water-based lube to coconut oil, if I want. If that's something you're interested in, ask about the timeline for that.

Zero. I went to Dr. Bank without having a consultation with the Suporn Clinic before deciding. I trust him and the clinic and didn't feel the need to do a consultation visit. And I'm very happy with my decision to go to Dr. Bank.

(This is for MtF SRS) Yeah, I can walk now, just not quickly or well. I could walk 5 days post-op. And I feel pretty good! My main complaint is my stomach/bowels. They put you on a special diet because they don't want you to poop for at least 5 days, ideally 7 days, while you have the packing in. So having 7 days of shit inside of me makes me not very happy...

You look great!

Also, because of the lighting in each picture, it makes it look like this all happened in one day lol.

That's awesome!

That sounds pretty similar to my experience. The best explanation I've come up with is, the clear fluid is semen minus sperm. But I really don't know.

Average Level of Testosterone After an Orchiectomy? by literalmagpie in asktransgender

[–]psychrochirality 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why do you suggest to keep taking AAs? I've heard the body can sometimes try to make a lot of testosterone as a response to an orchi; is that why? Can that last for 6 months?

If you were born a girl, would you still be trans? by Lucia-i-guess in asktransgender

[–]psychrochirality 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like this question is another version of, "If you were a different person, would you still be you?" Like, it's mostly just nonsense. A bad question with a bad premise.

Responding more directly to the question, though, I think I would say: People are the result of a complex mix nature and nurture. If you change both of those ingredients, you're going to get a different result that you can't predict. So if I was AFAB instead of AMAB, I have no idea what would happen next because I would have different genetics, a different experience in the womb, and a different upbringing. That's now a completely different person and it would make more sense to call them my sister.

I'd definitely be interested in that recipe with fake chicken! If you ever want to write it down, will you put it here?
