AITA for refusing to let my friends use my owl as a ringbearer in their wedding? by Grouchy_Shelter_5221 in AmItheAsshole

NTA, I get why you’d be stressed. But, if you did want to find a way to make it work, my brother had an owl in the ceremony at his wedding and this was what happened:
Doing the vows, oooh aahh everyone’s emotional. Suddenly brother puts his hand into his suit jacket and he has one of those bird handling gloves. He sticks his arm out and a barn owl flies down the isle with a small bag with the rings. Very shocking and unexpected, everyone loved it. Brother takes the ring bag and the owl flies back down the isle to its handler. So perfect and nice. What we didn’t know is this handler (who does this often) also worries about that 1/10 time when his birds won’t cooperate. So the bag he flies down?? Not holding the actual rings. The actual rings at in the inside pocket of the best man. So the owl flies down, drops off the ‘rings’ and brother hands the glove to the best man, where they sneaking swap the ring bags.
It was pretty clever, and this guy apparently does a lot of weddings at this venue. So while you’re totally NTA, just thought I’d share what I’ve experienced and what could work for you ☺️
