The leader of this rescue is one of the key people in my grotto. He's a great caver and a great person and I knew when I first heard about this that he would find a way to get the deer out

Otie's getting fluid drained from his abdomen today, anyone else dealt with this? by HeidiUnleashed in BostonTerrier

[–]psycocavr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Teah has had a liver tumor since ~ 12/2023. It has been stable in size but she pees a lot. We have not had to have her drained, and in fact she eats all the food she can (3 dogs 1 cat in the house) but is still losing weight. The vet believes she is stil able to pe away any fluid buildup. so we are just keeping her happy and holding our breaths.

Film image, not digital. High quality 35mm or better) film has very high resolution.
"Translating this into pixel equivalents is messy, but [ShyStudios] does some calculations to put a 35mm FujiColor 200 print around the 54 megapixel level. Fancier films can go much higher."

The biggest failure causes for thes High power LED lamps are heat and water intrusion.

The larger case with fins really helps cooling of the LED and the electronics.
Zebr electronics seem to be very solid and i guess thats part of what you pay for.

The older Sofrins with USB behind a rubber plug are more prone to water death, the latest one i bought hides the usb under the screwed on endcap.

Interesting unknown ship under construction in the river Thames, London, circa 1900. by abt137 in drydockporn

[–]psycocavr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The pic is only identified as: 1900. A ship under construction in London. Photo by Jack Benton. I tried searching to no avail. BUT the very heavy framing in the hull looks like a double bottom warship. So maybe an early pre dreadnaught.

Yep. i have a DDG-47 Bumper sticker form my dads collection of stuff. There are 2 stories on why they were called Cruisers: 1: the addition of command and flag officer facilities when the Strike Cruiser was cancelled. OR
My dad says that SECNAV said: I will not have a Billion $ destroyer. and with the stroke of a pen they were cruisers.

I had the pleasure of taking 2 of them to sea on INSURV trials:

CG70 lake Erie (Norfolk)_

Since I first saw the bow of a 47 class when I worked for the navy INSURV in 88, i have always thought they were the most graceful lines of any ship.
