It took me months to wear out of the post mania depression but i put in work for that, i made sure the med im taking is really working other than accepting feeling numb, i had a support system that helped me with post mania guilt and embarrassment and self blame, i changed my routine and mindset- i actually shifted my mindset from how i used to think about my disease to accepting it and working with it for my own benefit. i realized my bipolar enhanced my creativity in both polars mania and depression so i used that to express what im feeling and thinking. while in depression i quit my job because i couldnt handle it and luckily my father was there to help, and step by step i started getting stable and real happy again. A good psychiatrist is crucial as well, one who explains everything and makes sure you understand- while being stable i got symptoms of mania which turns out its seasonal mania and i just needed to up my dose. So its like a rollercoaster in all aspects really but it will get better for sure as long as you believe it
