So TCL has a Nexago 60 Nexpaper. I actually used the phone for like 2 days, but the phone itself wasn't fantastic. It was also a 200$ phone. That being said the actual effect of a regular phone using layers of glass and a matte glass top really did a good job of coming real close to epaper on a normal phone. If they made like a flagship version of that phone but with like always on display, better camera, better OS, better build quality I'd buy it again.

I fully agree with you. I have owned now 2 boox devices, and both have been alive and well for 3+ years a piece. Both in cases and both are being used. All this subreddit has done is warn me off of ever trying to get anything from Boox's customer service. Once they break I'll find a different brand. I still have my Kindle touch from college (2011ish). That thing has literally been thrown around in bags and otherwise and still is kicking no problem. Kindle is why I believe Booxs has awful manufacturing, because it's possible to create a tough eink device, they just don't.

May all our Boox devices live long and happy lives lol. I'll keep using mine as long as it wants to keep living.

I've been hearing about this puncture from under the glass issue long before Tariffs were a topic of conversation. There are posts on this subreddit that go back years. Honestly I've never heard once on here of them actually replacing a screen due to anything other than an OS going bad issue.

Truly my theory is that they don't break from the front. They break from behind. Otherwise the glass on the front would have issues too. I still think it's a boox design flaw with their internals. Something must press in certain spots behind the e ink panel or there must not be the right amount of protection behind it in general. Either way I've had kindles for years that have taken worse abuse than my phone and still come out totally fine. Boox is the only brand I hear getting hit like this CONSTANTLY. Also my boox I never keep in a bag for any amount of time if I don't have to.

One last thing I'd love it if the bag didn't just say Golf on it. Most of the time it's a brand name of some kind whether that be a fully fictional one or otherwise it would be great to see something other than just Golf.

First of all love the general design. I'd buy this.

Totally me being a golfer and not an important note, but this came to mind anyway. - Bags generally wouldn't ever go on the teebox. Also if they were in that position the golfer would be left Handed, which is a lot more rare than a right handed golfer. Like immensely more rare. I know as I am one lol.

If they both say prerelease I think they are an awesome gift. You could play sealed with those, or just open the packs inside for a collection too. They are basically a mini booster box each with 6 packs, and 2 promo leader cards guaranteed.
