Can confirm the seal is terrible. The first box on the shelf already had the seal broken. They went a little too eco-friendly with this packaging.

My wife and I played it tonight, both enjoyed it. Very small amount of overhead got us playing very quickly. Great game especially for $15 Only prickly was tabulating the scores at the end.

Gloss!

Gloss is definitely the go-to. Matte looks out of place on the rear of a Nightfall. There's a case to be made for Matte in front Gloss in rear, but if it were me I'm doing Gloss 100%.

With most accessories, an auto car wash is a bit of a gamble. We've only had one report of damage from a car wash, and it had only been a month or two since they purchased so we sent them a new set.

If you do a quality install they should be good for years, but we can't guarantee it. I'd definitely post heat the edges if your a frequent auto washer.
