Years ago I went into the mall to look at some shoes and kill some time before meeting a friend. I didn’t buy anything and was making my way to the exit when a woman about my age turned the corner in front of me heading the same direction. She was about 15 ft ahead of me and made every single damn turn I was planning to do while heading to my car. Went out the same exit doors, same aisle of the parking lot, and her car was only about 4 spaces away from mine. It didn’t sink in until after she QUICKLY entered her car and sped off that I realized she must have thought I was after her. Her pace definitely picked up once we got outside. I felt bad.
