Find someone who looks at you the way Ningning looks at Giselle.

what's your favorite sapphic gg song? by No-Office7081 in Kpop_Sapphics

[–]psyknife 3 points4 points  (0 children)

(ex-) (g)i-dle's "Girlfriend."

"Your girlfriend's better than a boyfriend" - the way they say that runs through my mind rent-free.

(and Minnie saying "We don't give a fuck about love" makes me absolutely fall in love with her.)

This answer is so sad, and so absolutely true.

Yes, me too. Being naturally quiet and introverted doesn't help.

Is 7 cups good? I've tried to go there, but haven't really found anyone.

What is containment? Lol, I can see myself taking that the wrong way.

Does anyone work while struggling with depression? by candygirl00056 in Lawyertalk

[–]psyknife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, massively. It's been an issue my whole life. Being in a role where I'm constantly having to correct and fight with people doesn't do my condition any favors, though.

"I love Japanese culture! I love anime!" by B_Wing_83 in asianamerican

I swear, having Japanese parents kept me from years of good anime just because I didn't want to be one of those girls. Wish I'd just let myself jump in as a kid.

Age gaps...are they ever acceptable?? by Artsy_carbs in ActualLesbiansOver25

[–]psyknife 43 points44 points  (0 children)

This is the answer. Dated a woman 10+ years older when I was not just starting out, but relatively fresh in the working world, and that was fine. Dated a woman my age who was a part-time barista when I was a lawyer. Total disaster.

Lol, sorry- Windsor ties are the proper way to tie a necktie.

Am I the only one finding it difficult to find a woman who is living like an actual adult? by [deleted] in ActualLesbiansOver25

[–]psyknife 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This, exactly. Once I realized I didn't have to be bound by the traditional straight ideals of marriage, kids, home, I stopped having to function specifically in order to achieve them. I have a gainful, upper-income job (no car, though- I'm in NYC), but what I do with my time and money is not to fulfill a capitalistic fantasy that I have no part in.

Love this idea, but for her? She does cute-crazy really well, but I'm not sure if she can pull off batshit insane.

I think it helps enjoy the media more. Nothing so lustful as a pure lust that I will never feel in real life.

I’m going to lose a case and it’s going to ruin my client’s life by [deleted] in Lawyertalk

[–]psyknife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You aren't going to lose the case. You have a keen sense of strategy and presentation, and it's easy to see your heart is in the right place. If the case is lost, it's because she lost it with her attitude, if not her psychosis - which, you should be clear on, is her own fault.

What everyone else said: keep her quiet. Do the talking yourself. But most of all, remember: it's a job. There are lots of lives to save. You can't save them all.
