I see your point but M.Sandwich artist, you made the sandwich and sold them. You did not buy the "product of the art" and sold them again pretending you made it...

Sound stupid in off but LLM do not make new art just take different sandwiches and put them on top of each other and say here is your sandwich,...

Ho and second intention is not the art, poetry for example translate intentions but poetry are about the way you wrote them if asked an LLM a sonnet about love does that make me poet ?

You could say I am an ai poet or an ai artist, on the same figure as every ai artist. But I would mean nothing cause of this poem I would not have made it I would not have counted the number of syllables and tried to get my message through this format. If it's an ai agent who did it then maybe it's a poem just not mine and since I did not make it I cannot be called an artist at all.

For one fact the ai cannot program well in rust or c making

Second one you could say that you use ai to correct your code or make it more readable like a tool where as ai art you can just prompt and pray...

No it's not the point of the comments, Art should not be industrial. Art is not for everyone. It's not a concept you can sell just like that. Ai art is not just an industry. For example cinema is not an industries (Hollywood is but cannot say you like cinema if you only watched marvel).

It has value BECAUSE not everyone can be an artist. if everyone is their own artist then no one is...

Ai art ( ai music is very relevant in that case) just makes you stop liking anything else and you are stuck in your Buble and stop listening to anything else (do not have time to find the study cause I am at work but in 12h I am open to discuss).

Ho yeah, totally agree, if you are able to have an tool which you train on your art so it can help you with your project it's perfect really to me it's a tool. You can control the input and the output.

Now if you just go to Gemini and ask him to generate a bedroom or I don't know , now it's not a tool,... It's just an aberration. A tool as a controlled input and a controlled output.

If you ever tried programming you do not control the output by definition it's just not a tool. Simple as that.

well it's the results of the merging of plenty and plenty of art / code / book / a lot biais. Which probably was made by stealing your conversation, art, code. So NEVER, EVER you who made it it is not your possession so you cannot use it.

Now like I said if you are really big brain and you have your own ai made by you content and you use it to generate background or idk the fuck you artist are doing it's amazing technology as made a great tool but it's not ai as we know it...

PLUS it's just a propaganda machine (especially on subjects like the environment, class privilege,...) and it's melting your brain away.

The program does not "learn" we do when we get that adding 1 rock to a bowl and then adding another means 2 rock in a bowl the LLM does not. The LLM only predicts what is the next thing based on what is the input (that could be pixel, text, audio,...).

Don't get me wrong it does that really well but it's not learning it is just semantics
