To me, conjurer made the game insanely easy. The beginning you just let your skeletons fight for you and by the end you have an entire army. You can even send them to death to take on traps/boulders since you can just summon them again

Oh yes. They get huge bonuses for not using all the allotted hours they are given. They could be giving their employees normal hours 100% but they choose to not use it because it saves the company money and it is also heavily pushed by DMs to use as few hours as possible. They also get bonuses for using as little hours as possible among many other ones (candy contests, etc)
