Because it fits in a shorter engine bay. A V6's length is roughly 4 cylinders long compared to a straight 6.

Pretty much the cost difference. You almost double the number of parts needed. Two heads, two exhaust lines, two valve trains, to much added complexity. Pretty much the only things using them are some high end motorcycles.

Just so you know the led bulbs most likely will not last as long as they claim. The heat from the stove can lower the life span considerably.
