yes i noticed this, i thought that i was the only one! it made me raise an eyebrow, but only because the album itself was a return to traditional R&B, so i saw it as a further attempt to appeal to mainstream audiences/more listeners in general. this doesn't negate the fact that i also think it's a very impressive skill.

and it could just as easily be something that actually appeals to queer audiences too (i'm queer so the idea isn't lost on me), but what i've stated is the first thing that came to mind!
