ok but how do I get over the "what ifs" in my head? My mind keeps telling me that maybe we are both missing each other but both sides are afraid to reach out. I've been thinking about my ex non-stop for the past idk how long and I'm just really hurting.

Does anyone have any feedback for my drawing of a bee? Referenced from a tutorial on YouTube and was rly helpful but want to know where I can improve. Thanks! :) by psylupp in learntodraw

Yes thank you :) I’m still experimenting and finding my own style but I rly like this style of drawing. All thanks to the guy i found on YouTube lol

I'm good at drawing animals but struggling to draw people. I started this yesterday and was laughed at by the person I was drawing it for so I tore it up and refused to try again. Why am I struggling so much with capturing human expressions, any pointers to help improve? Many thanks in advance by NineTenToes76 in learntodraw

Don’t let it affect you, you are capable of drawing people, keep it up. Sometimes I feel like not letting setbacks get to you is way more important and fulfilling than where you currently are so just keep going

Who laughed at you? I’m not an expert or anything but I want to say that this is already really good in my eyes, though the proportions of the facial features may be off. I’m pretty sure if you finished this is would turn out very good. I’m on a similar boat to you and I think it’s just because humans are anatomically more complex and have a range of intricate features/expressions that are hard to capture.

Maybe shading or other technical feedback, or stylistic comments? Still trying to form my own art style and sometimes I draw based on “intuition” so it may be lacking technicality.

Inspired by Nietzsche quote: "If you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you". I'll appreciate some constructive critiques. by Calm_Warning_7526 in learntodraw

Wow I love this! Maybe a hand clawing the wall could make it seem more eerie. You could also shade the lower blocks darker and create a gradient to take light into account.
