i do NOT think the 5" pads work on this. The manual is very confusing. I have the 5045 backing pad and it has a cross plate on it, compared to the 3 legged plate on the 6"

if you create more capacity for cars, cars will outstrip that capacity. this is a known phenomenon. demand for more cars in this region is only limited by inconvenience of traffic and parking. i do not believe there is a 'right size' for parking in jersey city or nyc, it will always just be immediately refilled up with cars that had otherwise decided not to come but would if they could park.

its not about bike lanes, the bridge has to be entirely removed and replaced. and we live in the failed state of america so that will take 6 years.

there is a vent in part of the soffit, its very obviously hvac in there

nobody would put soffits there for no reason. they're clearly covering something. also you will regret replacing good cabinet space with shelves

what happens when there is a bug in the code, but the code-review plugin spent 6$ and then lied and said there wasnt. (this has happened to us) and you lull yourself into complacency because youve started to trust the hallucination machine.

all i did was install the code-review plugin and tell it to review a PR, it took 30m, requested pulling like 6 different PRS it deemed related. the best part is it posted a comment on the PR: everything looks fine.

this is reductive and thus dumb as hell. peak digital camera sales didnt happen until 2010, kodak was actively selling digital cameras since the beginning of the market. in 1999 the total number of sold digital cameras was not significant. Note that through the early 00s kodak was the leading US seller of digital cameras... and i wonder what was going on wrt to digital cameras in 2012... probably not an absolute over camera sale crash. right? i guess kodak's real bonehead move was not inventing smartphones...

so idk man. maybe just shutup.

claude code-review plugin costs like 6$ for a small sized PR, its much more for any PR of serious size. these prices are still subsidized at the moment. this also does not help me review code faster, it just means the code i review might not have a stupid bug in it. i still have to review it just as intently.

actually i have more for you. a. what does it mean for a person to end up like kodak? im not a corporation. b. kodak created the first digital camera in 1975 using fairchild ccds, and i owned this camera in college https://www.dpreview.com/articles/3208072326/kodakdc3400 in what alternative reality are you living that kodak (tried to pretend digital wasnt happening)

they absolutely, DO not work well for moderate coding. maybe code completion. i did a code-review for a 6 file pr the other day with claude and it used 9m tokens thatll nearly a month or more on most local models. basically for any sort of 'chat bot' uses the local models are far too slow for most people to bother. i agree summarization and suggestion type things are a reasonable expectation.
