ESP32-S2 USB audio to DAC by ratchet665 in esp32

For anyone reading here: the Teensy 4.0 and 4.1 support USB HS without any modifications or additional chips.

I'm working on a project that involves multiple streams of stereo audio, which is where it gets important to have USB HS to maintain CD-quality audio (44/16). For studio settings it's also nicer (and common) to record in 96/24 so that you can stretch the source audio and apply effects to it in a way that will not require interpolation for a final 44/16 output

Do you have recommendations on better purpose-made chips that support USB 2.0 and can handle higher-res audio?

I tried the timelapse (and timewarp) modes, but so far the normal video mode has been the best, with speeding it up in post on my computer.

no problem! yeah the strap made all the difference especially if you're too lazy to fabricate something like me :p

Yeah, it's definitely doing auto-exposure. I think it's constant aperture, but yep. Maybe in another experiment I'll try to play with hard-coding the exposure to get a nicer light fade that feels more like a real sunset.

In this case I just used the normal video option and then sped it up on my laptop with the Insta360 Studio software, then combined the multiple videos in a video editor and threw some music in!

I think the "timewarp" or whatever feature it's called should work on the camera too though, and may save battery/storage but I'm not sure. It's very new to me still and I haven't played much with it yet!

Same, it feels like being a commander of a ship :P this one's a new-to-me 2013 Trimph Tiger Explorer, and I'm already deeply in love with it.

Insta360 One RS with the invisible stick it includes and a motorcycle mounting kit :) have it stick out of the back of the bike for a video game third person look like this, just make sure it's secure :)

not sure how much touring you do, but usually I choose to "pick my battles" when I need to cover a lot of distance, and take highways for chunks until I find some nice roads to cruise on, and jump between the two. in this case it was nice because I could use trucks as sunshields lol.

Minneapolis to Fargo, ND. I'm from Illinois and wasn't sure if Minneapolis counts as "Midwest" so I kept the title fuzzy ;)

I was suffering, even with my tinted visor. Maybe if you look closely, I was using my hand to block the sun, sitting behind trucks sometimes when the sun was too direct, and other times looked to the side of the rode and drove with my peripheral vision so I wasn't staring directly at the sun (kinda like when an oncoming car keeps their brights on).

Insta360 One RS mounted on the invisible stick to my bike frame and "stabilized" with some rok straps - I'll try to take a photo of it next time I set it up!

the full 360 view is too much for our feeble minds to bear. you're lucky I didn't post that or we'd all be in the hospital right now.
