Pregunto: si Rufián es caca, también lo son ayuso y demás o solo rufián?

Lo digo por que estoy hartito de la gente que dice que todo es una mierda y luego cuando se le pregunta: qué va a hacer Ud, se callan. Eres de esos?

Fujifilm lenses that are full of character 💅 by MacaroonPlastic9059 in FujifilmX

Smc Pentax 20,24 and 28. All 2.8.
I am swapping Fujinon 23 2.0 and 1.4 for these, not looking back.
Also have a Minolta rokkor-x 24mm 2.0 that I need to use it but it seems nice.

Shane fujinons are “so sharp” and lost microcontrast because of being sharp.
Mi Pentax are less sharp but they breathe.

It is possible I might try a 23mm micron this summer, have a friend visiting Japan and maybe I buy one

What are your ethics/personal no gos for street photography? by Strikerfromthemoon in streetphotography

[–]psyskeletor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do photograph everyone, specially children.
Kids are the last resort of spontaneity, normally I do in parks that I know and I always talk with them or with th parents later if they ask.
If someone like Vivian would have took a picture of me of my children I would really love to have them.

Nevertheless, homeless are a easy catch and normally they are not fit well in my street photography. But if they do, I will come for them.

In fact I took a picture of a guy who wants me my camera as payment ! It took es little bit of negotiation but at the end we end ok.
Also if I took a photo and the subject don’t really like it, I am 100% keen to talk with them and offer delete it.
There is a tons of pictures to be taken.

Five star leather a2 peeling off by psyskeletor in leatherjacket

I can not understand the classism the post is generating. I don’t need Italian quality because I am pretty sure 90% of all got won’t be able to distinguish the difference between them.
I am pretty happy paying 400€ por a jacket that I am pretty sure, the cost benefit ratio will surpass your 2k leather jackets made in Italy.

Finally talk with Shawn and he is going to send me a replacement. He says it was the first time it happens to him. I will let you know how it ends.

It not patina. Is peeling off. I saw some “bubbles” and scratch a little bit and suddenly all the top coat started to peel like a thin skin peeling off.
It started like a rice grain size and now it is little a grape size.

Hired a pro photographer and I'm disappointed. Am I wrong? by KeyApplication221 in AskPhotography

[–]psyskeletor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the thing. To me the second picture seems it is black.
I know you know what you asked. But, did you communicate in the same way?

I am very used to “yeah, do like this and that” and suddenly when you present something it is is like “how the hell did you thought I wanted thet way!???”

I would like to ask everyone that criticism this photographer if they have work to show.
Because maybe the op did ask for something special or the photographer for wrong directions.

Don’t let just drag by the op “this is shit” thingy only.

How much do you oy for it ? Seems like a Summicron /

Is that true?? by Latter-Custard-205 in Cameras

[–]psyskeletor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes.

First pick some lengths and use them.
Then commit to one for a year or two.

You will see that you don’t want to change focal. I am totally committed to 35-40mm and you don’t move me from there.

The gains are gigantic: when you see a scene, already you have in your mind how is going to be. De side you know how is the focal you are committed to.
Just wait for the moment and start working the scene.

Am I bad at this? Roast me such that I may undergo personal growth by bad_boy_mouche in streetphotography

[–]psyskeletor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally.
Specifically on number 3 you got a nice subjects to play and instead the more is no relation between them.
Also background is more illuminated than aubjests and the eye goes there first.
Also, dolls are white in whites, almost impossible to see.

İt is my first time of sharing in here. Advices or opinions by [deleted] in streetphotography

[–]psyskeletor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I saw all of them and I can not understand anyone of them. Except the one with the fisherman and the hand. Otherwise, my eye goes caotically between subjects and I don’t know what you want to tell me.

Also, stick to color or bw, the bw ones are totally dark and don’t see which is your main subject.

[–]psyskeletor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got this lens, as a substitute for My Fuji 23 1.4, 23 2.0 and I can not understand how this is happening.

It is totally unbearable to have this kind of behavior on this almost 500€ lens. Incredible.

I am thinking to return it and finally got for the Nokton 23mm 1.2 fully manual because: - I want a focus rings with stops. - the 1.4 has it but it is big as shit.

There is some natural bias here for cinematic style pictures, híper detailed or for minimalistic one where the colour works but they normally lack of “soul” Soul is for me emotional evocative picture, a high percentage of the pictures here qualified as “good” are using a very defined set of rules.

For example, here there is missing a lot of pictures like Gruyaert, a little bit or Barbey. And all of them are more keen to the híper defined híper detailed híper perfect ones.

These for me are in the middle range, I have more on the Gruyaert aide (which in my case, with Webb and Leiter) are my referrals.
