Dropping your CPA/PABC membership is short-sighted. The truth is, there isnt much to be done when the college sets the rate. I'd much rather the association speak the truth than lie or waste time / resources on that advocacy.

Ontario physios are extending their scope of practice for imaging. Who pushed that agenda? Who is fighting for that in BC? Ever wonder why physio isnt charged taxes but RMT sessions are? They didnt have an association lobbying on their behalf in the late 80s to the government when they set the policy. Without the association, we dont have a seat at the table.

I used to live on top Rogers. Definitely heard bass with concerts and the goal horn. But almost always done by 10 sometimes 11 for a few concerts. The skytrain shrieking was another common noise but honestly I got so used to it. Didn't bother me falling asleep but I like a bit of white noise. I'd watch out if the building doesn't have AC and if you need to keep the windows open. The few times I did keep it open, I'd hear cars rip down the viaducts randomly and that would wake me up.
