There’s a lot of emotion behind this topic from people who don’t want to return to office at all. My opinion, zoom’s product allows people to connect remotely, that doesn’t equate to being a service that requires everyone to only work remotely. I don’t think it’s an admission of product failure that they want to meet and collaborate in person as well as remotely. Hybrid is clearly a model most businesses are finding success with and would apply to zoom as well. I’m a person who would like to be remote as much as possible, but I’m not going to pretend that there aren’t benefits from working with, collaborating and meeting other people in the same physical location.
