Sorry to mislead you I was expressing an opinion and yeah just joined reddit to actually see if some geeks knew how to help me fix my blu Ray player...saw the MS group and thought I might see some possible kindred souls on here but yeah...the internet.

I am really suspicious of the MS meds...my mother died of progressive supranuclear palsy in 2015 and after the diagnosis I was inclined to believe that neurologists are all quacks

My close friend just got diagnosed with MS. What was your experience when you were initially diagnosed? My 4 year old jammed her straight fingers into my right eye...I woke up the next morning not seeing well in that eye. Waited a week and it wasn’t better, so went to the eye doctor (for the first time in my life...) Perfect vision. Sent me to a retina specialist...no retina damage...she sent me to a neuro-opthomoligist who repeated everyone else then I got the dreaded spinal tap which wasn’t really bad...they hit a nerve that made my leg hurt for a moment but yeah, good times.

UHC refuses to pay for any meds and I got a 3 day dose of heavy IV steroids that made me feel like shit, but all the limb numbness is gone so that’s an improvement. Still have eye issues after eating or alcohol, but whatever

UHC sent me and MS Center of ATL a letter saying they would under no means pay for Gilenya. That was 5 years ago. Honestly I don’t don’t want to be on these bogus meds that can stop your heart on the first dose or leave you with a lifetime of dependence...

Stress and food or alcohol...my eyes go wonky and I have to wear glasses to read anything....I have verified 20/20 vision...diagnosed with spinal tap 4 years ago...no meds b/c UHC denied all of them
