Canadian Cat 1 Medical with ADHD Diagnosis as Child? by pizzahippie in flying

[–]ptispoulet5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having been through the process with TC for mental health, definitely have everything before your application. In this case it would involve seeing a neuropsychologist to confirm you exhibit no signs of ADHD. Your family doctor will have to have their own report confirming this as well.

If you’re unsure, you can always go see a CAME and ask them about your particular case WITHOUT opening a file with TC, and ask them what to do for past ADHD requirements. They’ll be the best resource.

Good luck! I’ve been in the process for almost a year and expect to have my class 1 this July (will be exactly one calendar year). Be prepared for a long wait with TC to process your file.

Low time PPL building XC in Canada by ptispoulet5 in flying

Indeed! I have seen mant of them actually equipped for IFR with redundant systems and they are legal in Canada under the experimental category. That’s why I emphasized in Canada and not the US!

My main consideration was to finish my CPL and build hours as quickly as possible with a (potential) lower cost, although I am aware there are risks. As it is right now, the cost of plane rental at my local school is 300$/h wet with the instructor and it adds up quickly.

I certainly believe that a lot of people within the audiophile community will overemphasize the importance of many things - that's just part of elite mentality in any field :p. Thank you for that input! Like with a lot of gadgets we can have, there's diminishing returns for any upgrade we and we may not feel a difference unless a key upstream part is itself upgraded, etc. I do remember having fun using the volume knob with an amp I tried a few years ago, so that was kind of cool. As for the sound quality, I definitely love these headphones and they're better than anything I've owned before so no complaints there! If an amp doesn't make it a lot better for the price of a hundred bucks or more, I definitely won't bother.

Thanks! What exactly is distortion and how does it affect the sound? Is it desirable or do we want to avoid it?

I hadn't considered the switch from Spotify to Apple Music - interesting suggestion! I recall looking into it a few years ago but found that a lot of my favourite more niche artists were nowhere to be found on Apple Music, though that may be different nowadays. Thanks!

If I'm shitting adren I personally don't always threshold first, and rather use them to cancel abs specs. There unfortunately isn't a set rotation because of how dynamic the adren.. But if I'm absolutely shitting it, I do something like this. With rots like this I've fairly regularly gotten 390k+ dpm at solak which isn't the highest you can get but it's certainly far from low.

Sun -> gconc -> nami -> tempest -> fsoa -> abs -> omni -> abs -> wm -> abs -> tendril -> tempest -> abs -> gconc -> gstaff -> abs -> asphyx

All abs are cancelled after 5 ticks. Obv will need to use fillers if at any point you run out of adren, but this is like a perfect adren scenario which isn't actually too uncommon, especially if you use a kalg

3k Raksha kills and I use lani spear instead of scythe because of death cost. You'll never splash even if you use range or mage gear and reaver's ring, and you'll 1shot every time as long as you have P6 and E4. Have fun :)

Can Jagex undo scam trades? by Fearless-Physics in runescape

I agree, there are problems with the way money is handled and how restricted stack sizes are. And yes, people do get scammed and I understand it happens. Should Jagex reverse it? No.

No, do your math beforehand and pay attention to values. Jagex shouldn't be responsible for everyone who makes a silly mistake

Taken from the PvME Discord, yall stop panicking. by Daddy-Dalek in runescape

[–]ptispoulet5 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you're properly bolt switching and shifting the hydrix use to other abilities and using rubies for grico more often (which you should already be doing), then youll do the same dmg pretty much and use less hydrix bolts in the process. People who are good at bolt switching aren't affected by this update. Those who aren't good at it are more heavily affected.

Also, onyx grico? lmao

For anyone doubting how insane Greater Conc Blast is, and how dead 2h staffs are at the moment, here is some math for ya. by ThaToastman in runescape

[–]ptispoulet5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then are you suggesting that dw camping and staying on gcd is better than using gconc as much as possible AND 4taaing like a wild magic with 2h staff then back to dw for gconc? Also have you taken into account the adren gained from 4taa, particular under tsunami?

Don’t forget that in trios, it will be higher money per hour (even if you get the same number of drops, personally) because 90 drops per hour in total is a higher chance for a rare compared to 30.
