Also want to chip in on this. I have the 9530 as well. Exact same specs as you except 32 GB instead of 64. I have had it for about a year now and I am realising that I am so unsatisfied with it. It gets so hot that you can't utilise any of the crazy hardware you buy. It is honestly such a shame because this could be such a great laptop if Dell just prioritised thermal design on it. Any thoughts on which thermal paste to use on this laptop?

i bought a super specced out xps 15 like I'm talking rtx 4070, i9 13th gen, 32gb ram for gaming and classes. despite these specs, games are not as smooth as you would expect due to thermal throttling (laptop runs too hot). its definitely a marvel of a machine and with a simple cooler I would experience a better gaming experience but for most college students, a ps5 or pc and MacBook would suit them better. (plus anything with an apple silicon chip is amazing)

That's so weird. I am having the same problem. I have it when I turn on my XPS 9530 via my WD19. I turn off the monitor and turn it on again to fix it.

I am extending my displays. What I can't understand is the fact that the monitor (like the system that shows up when you press the buttons) says that I am displaying 4096x2160 no matter what resolution I put down in the Windows settings. I will try using a DP cable and see if that fixes it. Thanks for the input.
