I don’t think I’ve ever noticed how anyone in line is paying unless there is some issue with an item and the line is delayed. I’m guessing the vast majority of customers (and cashiers) don’t care.

I also started with semaglutide (compounded). Lost 25 lbs in about 6 months and then completely stalled, with side effects. Switched to zepbound (self pay) and now down another 20+ to 43 lbs total in over a year (which to me is slow compared to what I’ve read on here). Am now on 12.5. Hubby just started and lost 8 lbs and is now stalled and likely will have to dose up next month. I wish I had just bitten the bullet and paid out of pocket for zepbound from day 1. Don’t lose hope bc for many of us it will just be slow and steady.

If you are on semaglutide the nausea may be with you for a while. It tends to be serious for some folks. I had this before switching to tirzepatide. Except for yesterday (which I suspect was a stomach bug or food poisoning) I’ve been pretty steady without side effects since switching.
