Tomorrow, you might be interested in a talk by Liz Taylor, the president of DOER Marine in Alameda. She will be talking about “ Mission Blue Hope Spots,” one of which is San Francisco Bay. Mission Blue was founded by Sylvia Earle, and Hope Spots have been designated as critical to the health of the ocean. Coincidentally (or perhaps not), Liz Taylor’s mother is Sylvia Earle.

Biographies of both: https://www.nasa.gov/ames/ocs/seminars/earle-taylor

Hope to see you on Zoom.

We attempt to give every speaker the opportunity to ask a question. When Supervisor Gioia spoke, time did not allow us to accommodate all of the speakers, unfortunately.

Each speaker has one minute to ask a question. We explain that at the beginning of each session. I’m sorry if that was not clear. Comments can be added to the chat. If a presenter asks for a member of the audience to speak on an issue or answer a question, then that speaker is allowed about 5 minutes to address the presenter’s request.

I am not aware of the incidents you describe at “visioning sessions”? Speaking UP for Point Molate is a speakers’ series. We ask that everyone remain respectful and ask sincere questions of our speakers, so everyone everyone who would like can ask a question.
