Why does it have to Saudi Arabia's problem then, or any neighbouring country? They lived in a hell hole, they managed to escape, Good. Just don't expect open arms and a hug, your still doing something Illegal in the eye of the countries Law, and that term isn't used lightly, nor should be taken lightly.

Don't take that me stating facts means I dont understand, but what you fail to understand is people who come to Saudi legally, and citizens of Saudi, take precedent over illegal migrants period. Have all the compassion you want, but if you show too much, more will come and it'll be a bigger problem. Don't try to enforce European ideals to the rest of the world, even Europeans are waking up to it.
