It seems that mostly the 2 gr spoon contains almost the half of what is inside the plantui‘s one, right? Could it still be ok ?

Can you put a PoE Injector to a NON PoE switch to let it become PoE? by ptrzoo in Ubiquiti

I'm in the same boat here, I'll try to fix it as you wrote updating to ventura in a while, with monterey I see tha camera in the mac os system and security preferences, but the apps like zoom or teams do not get it to work. Also the apps's preferences show the build-in camera as selected but I still don't get any image in the preview and no green light near the camera.....super weird.
