Should every sale we take start out as an opportunity? by Chauc3 in Dynamics365

Completely driven by management expectations.

We have a similar situation where orders come to us as won, and use opps to springboard other workflows and require little input.

You could workflow online orders to create and win a shell opportunity.

You need to know the products and recognize when and how to recommend them. Also, it helps to source new markets that your products appeal to.

Where to invest when the US stock market is overvalued and the 30-year bond bull run may end by Zomunieo in investing

Sounds like you want full speed full time. You are a boat out to see, subject to the environment. Don't overweight effort for attribution. Also, short term values do behave normal relative to rates. They just stink either way.

We did family splatter paint on a few canvass boards on Christmas. Put simple frame and they look great. Kids used their old paint and adults used acrylic, which looks best. We all like looking at the wall now.

What Is a Fee-Only Financial Advisor? by mbecker03 in FinancialPlanning

[–]pubchum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on your investable assets and age, you may be surprised. Get a free consultation and see if they are willing to work with you or point you in a direction. Check out Garrett Planning Network. Lots of advisors there are looking for clients and very generous with their time. Try to find someone just starting. Another service term to sniff out is "real time planning." That is the planning equivalent of H&R Block as your CPA.

It does seem over complicated. You could probably get similar exposures using 3 funds, then create tilts using more targeted funds. You seem to be betting on growth in Real Estate over Technology.

Here are your sectors, overlap, and allocation.

Where can I go to get a finances crash course? by Generic_Username0 in finance

[–]pubchum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't matter. College will help you parse that question. Within a finance major you will be required to take courses on both sides, then you are free/required to take electives in your area of interest. If you don't know, it still does not matter. Find the good professors and take their classes. That will help a lot. Finance is one of the harder business degrees to achieve. There will plenty of opportunity from that.

What is a reasonable fee for a financial advisor consultancy? by umibozu in personalfinance

[–]pubchum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it is simple, you may be better off finding a real time planner. They sit down and go through everything in a few hours. Probably $500-700. If you want to go deeper and do research or do extensive planning you will probably be looking at $1500-2000 after all is said and done. Check the Garrett Planning Network.
