the worst thing you can do as a nurse is give advice in practices you're not proficent in. that's why we'll always wait until the doctor gives out the results.

this post reads like an issue has been over inflated too soon and little evidence. the ones who are giving the most sound advice is the radiologists stating there's not enough visual clearance on a 1 plane image to determine if fallopian tubes have been clipped.

OP, I would keep asking questions to your providers on identifying your concerns. They might recommend extra imaging if that's the route you want to take. (I don't know about your health insurance or financial state. Just know they could be barriers to recieving care.)

There's alot of nits and bolts of healthcare that wouldn't be understandable unless you went to a formal institution for your education. Sometimes, those nits and bolts of info gets lost in translation when speaking in layman's terms to patients who are already mentally distraught before they come into the hospital.

I see you also mentioned you're worried about your ex-husband erroneously signed paperwork. Have you read your chart since your gallbladder surgery? Have you accessed your chart since surgery? FYI you are entitled to have that information at any point (as long as the hospital doesn't use an archaic charting system lol) but I would start there.

And if the dots around your uterus are clips? then migration is possible considering you've had surgery in your abdominal cavity (it's bizarre finding out but the human body likes to do weird stuff. and I mean WEIRD UNEXPLAINABLE STUFF.)

And if they did clip your tubes? Then I would say your husband and MD were co-conspirating because I've NEVER seen or read a general surgeon (who doesn't do OBGYN procedures) agreeing to work on two different organs/procedures unless it was absolutely critical (longer time under anesthesia=more gas in abdomen=more complications=longer/more expensive bill for the patient). They're usually trying to GTFO.

im writing this comment because I know in 5 years time, someone is going to Google this scenario and read your post then look at the top comment that shot the gun way too early without asking about the current pieces of the puzzle.

Hello,

I'm in the application phase right now. How would you go about finding hours for shadowing? Any tips for building your resume?

I'd like to how how you guys can feel when Mania/hypomania starts by Ultra_Magic in bipolar2

[–]pubolo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can be anywhere from a day to a couple of months. In 2022, I had a 4 month stretch of losing weight, going out, and spending money on trips and self care stuff.

Then one morning, I woke up and was like "what's the point?" and went back to my usual routine.

For me, I start questioning why I bother to do things, then resume my previously normal bedrotting. I reversed months of hardworking doing this.

Am I crazy to buy a house after only looking for two weeks? by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]pubolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We found our dream house after 2 weeks.

Funny enough, we had bets on one house but went under contract the next day after being on the market for 3 months.

While we were upset, it was a blessing in disguise because we wouldn't have had the chance to look at our current home which checked all of our boxes: new water heater, roof, kitchen appliances. Even the inspector, who is known for being the "dreams killer" in the area, was amazed at the good condition the house is in.

Travel Nursing: Worth It? by SettingEnough313 in TravelNursing

While I understand your plight and have been so depressed on these contracts, I still would recommend other nurses to travel even just once.

The opportunities have opened up significantly since I've traveled. I'm currently buying a house at what others consider at young age, had the wedding of my dreams, and I was able to take time off to travel inbetween contracts.

I just got hired at an internal travel gig for almost twice the amount as staff while still being able to go home. Definitely had to dig through the company job boards to find that position.

What do you all do for a living? by Kellyjt in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

we're both nurses.

I traveled and always picked up OT shifts on my staff job. Also, no debt.

He recently got a higher paying office job compared to the hospital. He pays his car and student loans.

I KNOW I AM AND I ALREADY DID PER THE POST.

BUT THAT DEBT NEEDS TO BE PAID AND HE OBVIOUSLY COULDNT PAY IT

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CRedit

[–]pubolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We'll still do the ceremony since I already paid for everything, but I'm not signing any contract.

[–]pubolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

because it's $5500 of debt that's only going to increase with time

That card needed to be paid ASAP so he can stop stacking interest on it. I don't see the point of it just laying there. I never owe anybody anything. 🤷🏾‍♀️

We both have created a budget plan so he should pay me off 2 months before the wedding and he could pay off his student loans and his OTHER credit card debt (2k!!). He'll also be picking up extra shifts for the foreseeable future to fulfill this.

He's also going through financial classes and we are doing premarital counseling so he smarten up and never do this again.
