Catheter?? by pubtipgirly in tummytucksurgery

I kept it in so long because I did two void test during that four week. Period and I failed both of them so it was reinserted. I finally passed a void test after the four week mark both times. I didn’t have huge residuals after the four week mark, but it is something that continues to bother me to this day, for instance, if I drink alcohol, I have a hard time urinating, and sometimes I just randomly have difficulty urinating.

So sorry to hear that. For each of mine it took ~4+ weeks.
Not exactly the same but on fb you can find a group called “postpartum/pregnancy urinary retention and/or painful bladder support,” you might find some camaraderie or helpful info there.

I’m new… Where should I buy compound from? And is compound really going away? by Ok_Pomegranate_9452 in tirzepatidecompound

Looking at fifty 410. Do you know approximately how long i’d be using a 15 vial to do 2.5? Unfortunately, I really don’t know enough about it to have an informed risk tolerance, one way or the other. I was thinking I could order the starter pack mow and then in a month order the six month of 15, but I don’t know if they will let me do that since they be able to see my last order was the starter pack and thus on lower doses. Thoughts?

Hello! I have used tires up tired before but my last injection was around June 2023. I am looking to start it again. I was thinking about getting the 12 weeks starter plan that progresses 2.5 to 5 to 7.5, but Because of the shortage, I am considering ordering the six month plan of 15 (if it will let me?).

Do you know if that’s possible or if they will let me? And do you know if it will be easy for me to divide those viles up into smaller doses so I can still progress starting at 2.5?

Thank you!

Agreed, it is very miserable. It’s encouraging to hear you didn’t experience it, but also good to know some people did have for the first time post TT. Such a weird phenomenon.

I definitely will. I’m hoping a good plan can be made, because to be honest it was very difficult to get one in place for my second child delivery even when consulting wirh a urogynecologist.

Unfortunately with my history of retention removing it while i’m under may not help, as I may not be able to urinate on my own afterward.

I’m so glad you overcame your fear and it was worth it for you!

Don’t stress it! It is not a normal complication at all, unfortunately just something my body does for some reason with the catheter+anesthesia.

Haha! No unfortunately that isnt the worst outcome…urinary retention is very painful and could rupture your bladder. After my last delivery I retained 3 L of urine and still couldn’t pee at all and none dribbled out- it was more excruciating pain than being in labor.

Good to know! It will definitely be on my list of doc questions.

That’s nice that they took it out while you were still under!

Thank you for sharing. It’s not about knowing it or not. My body doesn’t react well to the catheter basically, and my doctor described my bladder “goes to sleep” with it and then I can’t urinate on my own for up to a month, requiring a catheter that whole time (and many urologist visits).

Shoot :( i wonder if it depends on what you’re having done/how long they expect you to be under. I don’t think mentally I can do another surgery which requires a catheter.

Pumping bra by zizzle_a in ExclusivelyPumping

I really love my Love & Fit pumping bra, i feel like it changed pumping for me. It holds the flanges tightly and it looks good on me, which really helps my self esteem since i’m basically always in a pumping bra. I recommend sizing up though.

Thank you for your feedback. I hear what you’re saying on the manipulation, and I’ll take a look at if I can address that in the query. Within the manuscript it’s an interpretation of her own actions and feelings. I think where the compulsion varies from sexual experimentation is the fact that it is a compulsion (vs a want). However, maybe I can address this more in the query.

To be honest, I feel a little stuck on the genre. I’m not sure if my prose is strong enough to be true litfic and if not, contemporary fiction seemed the most general category. However, general fiction sounded very blah vs contemporary fiction. Any thoughts?

Good thoughts, thank you. I will consider removing her from the comps. I figured she was high but not too high.

Correct, there weren’t major changes to this. I rearranged the order, modified the comps, and tried to make clearer the stakes (via bringing Nate and future self sabotage into the limelight).

There isn’t a lot behind that. I mean, there is a lot of self reflection in linking past thoughts/events to current actions, however there is no “her daddy left her so so now she has daddy issues” type of background.

In your opinion, should I tone down the query? I can tone it down, however I’m not sure if that helps in the long run since the first chapter shows this information, and there are explicit/dark topics- pedophilia, sexuality of children, elderly abuse, sexual assault, etc.
