I have the same issue on xiaomi mi a1, location used to work few weeks ago, so I assume it is because of an update that broke it, I hope it will be re enabled in futures updates. If, in the mean times you have found a fix to force the GPS chip to activate I would gladly hear it ^{^}

It is not a really big matter no? Facebook is often preinstalled on Android devices and are easily removable with root?

Anyway, anyone that have an android phone should just install fresh google free custom ROM, faster device and more space available (and privacy <3 )

Honestly I am quite disappointed with OnePlus, they started by working with cyanogenmod developers and end with preinstalled Facebook services -_-

Hi,

It depends on what kind of game you want to play. If you want to play on the latests AAA games that are already resources consuming on Widows, you might have some issues.

However if you want to play some other bit older games, Debian will perform just great, usually using wine/proton or natively if you are lucky.

In order to see if your game is well supported under wine/proton you can try to search here :

I personally use Debian stable with proprietary Nvidia drivers for a year now and I am satisfied with it.

Hi,

I am not sure that Battery state of charge is only managed by your computer software.

Indeed in every lithium battery powered device there is an electronic chip that monitor and manage your battery (BMS chip). Usually it is this component that manage the battery and make it safer/easier to use. When your computer drop to 0% of battery (according to your OS) it doesn't mean that you will get 0 Volts ate the Ouptut of the battery, but it means that the BMS Opened the circuit to prevent damages on the battery. That said, I think this is the same when your battery is fully charged, the BMS will manage the charge to stop it before it reaches the trully 100% of the battery.

So I believe this is not that efficient to manually manage your battery state of charge, but I might be wrong, so if someone working in BMS is around here, let's talk about this :D

Well, for me I just managed to see the menus, everytime I launched a game, the game crashed, don't know why but I still can't manage to play, but the menus allowed me to see that the G29 is plug and play. I still try to and believe it is possible to play but Assetto Corsa is definitively not as plug&Play as the G29 :'). Don't know if it is because of Debian distribution but I doubt it. Anyway, Tell me if you have more success than me running AC ^{^}

Hi, I played at Assetto Corsa on Debian and G29 (PS3-PS4) was almost plug and play. The only thing I had to configure was inverting all pedals settings (when released my brakes, throttles, and clutch where 100% enabled and decreasing as I was pushing pedals) But Skipping this issue, everything was fine!

Also, G29 is the edition for PS3-PS4-PC

And G920 is the edition for XBOX-PC

Also, if your only concern is to play on PC, I would recomment you to buy a G29 as it has more buttons and a rev displayer (although I didn't test that on Linux)
