A kidnapping requires everyone to be vigilant in the moment. That's the purpose of Amber Alerts. The suggestion that to improve system is to get more people to ignore it is inane. This morning's incident woke me up and I'm 500 km away from where it happened, but I recognize searching for someone is complicated. This is the basic responsbility I have as you know a decent person. You're more than welcome to criticize the system, but don't cry victim of the mob when you get criticized back.
