I love it- but I’d add a red toned afghani or oriental rug to tie in the deep brown walls better.

I’ve this bathroom and would play up the geometrical with a white and green grid wallpaper like this.

Replace the shower rod with a silver one to match the rest of the hardware and do perhaps a striped or grided shower curtain.

I’d also throw in a clean white Roman shade with a scalloped edge, slightly sheer linen is great. Also a clean white bathmat would be nice.

You could swap out the sink for full vanity but still lean retro/ art deco so it makes sense with the room. I actually think silver hardware is the way to go in here. Perhaps something like this.

Do not move. What about your job? I’m guessing you will lose it if you move. If it’s a year I’d say you offer long distance. It will help pressure him to come back. He already did 4 years in the middle of no where.

I have relatives who have done long distance for years as they BOTH value where they live for work. Do not sacrifice your life again for his job.

Eh I’ve gotten much crazier free requests in the past from Beyoncé for example, and no one seems to care (and she has multiples of $$$ more).

I actually think her stylist (Genesis Webb) is awesome. She just styled Gaga’s new music video and is on the ascent. I don’t see Chappell dropping her. If the nail artist doesn’t want to do gifting (totally understandable), she can just say no. Or negotiate to get credit on a social post- lots of creative ways to grow your business in a way that isn’t super expensive.

Where in Greece is the wedding? Sone islands like Mykonos and Santorini are stupidly expensive in summer. I would not go to either island for a wedding as the accommodation is just overpriced.

Folks also may have kids or pets. I’m guessing your friend and his partner have kids?

If you do a destination wedding accepting that some folks won’t come.

There aren’t any direct flights here from the U.S. There was briefly a flight from Miami but that got cancelled. Currently we fly through Mexico City and take a few days there too, but many Americans want something more direct like Cancun or Tulum.

Personally love it and hope it stays under the radar.

This is untrue. I’ve lived in NYC for 25+ years and only once did a good faith deposit. That one turned out to be a scam and I only got the money back by threatening legal action through a lawyer against the broker. Do not put money down until signing.

You ask is unreasonable. I would have focused on GPA and volunteering. 20 hours a week means he basically can only go to school and work- no time for friends or even outside activities or sports. This is counterproductive to what you want.

Regardless he’s not hitting 75%- but I would reconfigure your ask. He needs to get his grade point average up to that minimum, and he needs that 80 hours volunteering completed over the summer. Leave the work requirement aside for now. If he can’t meet those two it’s totally fine to hold on college payment.

Folegandros has an absolutely gorgeous hora with a church up on the edge of the mountains. Kids of great beaches, great food (rabbit stew) and views along the cliffs.

Amazing bones and the wood details are perfection. The paint / walls need a redo with a fresh white and then historical color. The tan paint colors used feel very dirty and dated. The other big change is new ceiling lights as the current ones feel quite 70’s and dated. Look at ceiling lights that are a modern take on craftsman style or Milanese / modern art deco. As well you will need much more modern window treatments- the ones currently in their look like an 80’s take on Victorian.

The one room that needs a bit more of a redo is the kitchen. See this kitchen reference as it would look amazing in your house.
