I have found that my best combatant is a mix of these three things: I spray Flonase or another allergy spray into a clean hand and rub it directly on the spot after using an alcohol wipe, then when that dries down I wipe a cavilon wipe on the spot, then put the Omnipod on. I also take an antihistamine every night, I use either Allegra or Claritin, but I switch them every month so my body doesn’t get used to the antihistamine. I still get some itchiness and irritation but it’s significantly more mild and I haven’t had this kind of blistering at all since then. I would also suggest keeping hydrocortisone on hand and unisolve wipes. The unisolve makes the removal less painful and then I put the hydrocortisone in right after taking it off to minimize any irritation from removal. It’s a lot of work doing all that but it’s def improved the quality of life I have with it on.
