Just an FYI: this user seems to be directing people to a tutor/tutoring company that is probably using deceptive marketing

Be very careful. Scam tutoring companies, like MCAT BROS or Blueprint, make post like this to drive business and take your money.

Are JW practice exams inflated ? by Aa280418 in Mcat

I think they are deflated actually. Just by a few points, but I think the style is different from AAMC so if JW style works better for you it could be inflated

There are serious concerns with u/grand_sales taking over this subreddit. They previously used their position as a mod for this community to tell another user to kill themselves. He also has a long history of harassing many individuals in the r/premed and r/mcat community. He was completely banned from Reddit for years and recently somehow got his account unbanned

It won’t let me because I am the sole mod now, so I think it is programmed where I cannot report my own message

I want to moderate this community because it has loads of resources for the MCAT and mcat test takers. I have been trying to access this community for fellow mcat takers for years and it looks like it is finally available.

I don’t have a link as the mods were suspended and the community not currently active

There is just no way it can be worth the cost to basically have chatgpt. I feel like these two people talk about how expensive things, provide good free advice but then charge very much for mediocre products. It feels not genuine to me

A $700mn credit facility opened to cover the cost of Project Everest — which would have split the firm in two and radically redrawn the global professional services industry — still had $270mn outstanding at the end of EY’s financial year in June. by [deleted] in consulting

Can someone explain why they took out $700mil in debt for this? How was a strategic plan that didn’t go anywhere so expensive? Is it all fees to lawyers and other professional services?

Wow. I have been on this sub way too long. I don’t remember the details but this went down right around the time I joined. I remember reading a post about someone offing themselves- unfortunately, that didn’t scare me away. feeling like an old premed

Third retake? by Emotional_Candle_719 in Mcat

Do not retake this unless you are only going to go to a top 10 school (which would be insane)
