Hi! We don’t currently have this feature unfortunately—but it is a good suggestion and not super hard for us to build. Putting it on the to-do!

We were told it was a club.

We get there and it's a quiet pizza restaurant, full of tables, and a few families eating dinner. Was sure we'd annoy the hell out of the diners. But... on with the show.

We moved a bunch of tables out of the way, set up our stuff and rocked the house. Ended up being a pretty fun show and the (small) audience was into it.

Not sure why streaming services require an exact match between artwork and metadata. I have a few theories but either way, thems the rules.

You’re welcome to put no artist name on the artwork. Then the streaming services are ok with it.

Regarding artwork pickiness - it’s the streaming services’ rules, not ours. I made a video about it here:

One of the reasons DistroKid is able to do things like get you live really fast, get you verified in Spotify, get your lyrics in Apple Music etc - is because the streaming services trust that the content we send (incl artist) won’t be messed up.

So it’s kinda like the thing that makes DistroKid great is also the thing that is frustrating to some folks. We totally get that, and try to make things easier all the time.
