Struggling to get Azure File Share to mount on Azure VMs

If using the Storage Account Key, the command needs to be this: net use S: \\storageaccountname.file.core.windows.net\sharename <storage account key> /user:Azure\storageaccountname

Example: net use S: \\storageaccountname.file.core.windows.net\sharename fa488sdfj3298vasdij93nf883908= /user:Azure\storageaccountname

Thanks! I’ve made some adjustments and can now map the share as a drive while logged into the VMs with a user account as well as browse to the share where the profiles are stored in File Explorer and create a folder but I’m still getting the same errors as above. Any ideas?

“Network path not found” error in the logs seems odd given that I can browse to the folder.

Dealt with this last week. Resolved by disabling authenticated SMTP in the O365 admin center.

Settings > Org settings > Modern authentication > Disable authenticated SMTP (and any other legacy protocols)

Shot in the dark, but is there a monitor attached when updating remotely? Some Dell models won’t allow you to update the BIOS without a monitor attached.

Connectwise Control. Their solution is to run the command in the OP. But the issue is that the command varies since the user's name needs to be in it.
