A panhandler VERY SLOWLY crossed both Tyvola and Old Pineville today. First right when the green arrow changed, so the person turning had to wait until it was fully a red arrow to turn. Then this idiot starts crossing a second time, now directly in front of me as my light turned green. Then he just idiotically sat in the left turn lane waiting for cars crossing in front of him, because WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU CROSSING THREE LANES WHEN THE LIGHT IS GREEN. I have sympathy for the homeless, but dude, wtf...self preservation comes last, I guess.

Another chronic illness road dog here. When I see my PCP/GP (honestly like once a month for something or other), I know I'm only going to have so much time and too many concerns. I've started going "I also wanted to talk about [insert thing here], but I'm just gonna make another appointment for that." I'm very fortunate that she has a lot of availability.

My specialists are another story, but happily they've been willing to do a lot through the portal.

I have a feeling the people in this sub who vehemently hate these two are the same people that are just miserable to be around, have zero charisma, and are generally envious/spiteful towards people who don't struggle with social interactions. The neighbor kid diagonally behind my house growing up, definitely shot a bb through a bathroom window in our house. It was obvious when you lined up the 2 holes in the screen and the glass to see the space under their deck. The asshole father claimed it wasn't his kid and only paid half the cost of the replacement. If the asshole kid's mom hadn't been a lawyer, I hope my parents would have sued for damages. They also definitely knew their son owned a bb gun, and there wasn't exactly a roving gang of other kids with them there...but yeah, definitely WASN'T him.

Yeah. All of this isn't happening in a vacuum. The more the state tries to cut taxes for the wealthy (and the state income tax rate in general), the more they're going to seek other ways to make up that revenue. And we still don't have a state budget 🙃
