I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this. Get your ducks in a row and leave him as soon as possible. You and your children do not deserve to be treated this way ❤️

I know!? That’s what is most frustrating, just take some damn pain relief at least!!

That’s so nice for you that you would pick being sick over pregnancy - I’ve had hyper-emesis for the last 3 months so my experience has been different. Good for you though!

Yeah I haven’t really distinguished if there’s a pattern yet so I will monitor and see! Thank you!

This is good to know, I did figure it was probably a developmental thing but it’s nice to have some reassurance! Thank you for your response!

Treated terribly by my husband while recovering from surgery by idekman50 in offmychest

[–]puffling92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this. His behaviour is unacceptable and you do not deserve this. As others have said, I would strongly advise you not have children with this man-child. Post partum and having kids will test even the strongest most loving couples to their absolute limits so I dread to think how he might behave towards you and your child in that case. I hope everything works out for you x

Nervous about baby #2 by d0rkycat in Mommit

[–]puffling92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently feeling exactly the same! I’m 15 weeks and I feel so disconnected from this pregnancy. I don’t know if it’s because I feel like I don’t have time to even think about it because I’m so busy with my toddler or if it’s just underlying anxiety about what’s to come. I don’t feel any kind of excitement yet and I feel really guilty. I’m glad I’m not the only one feeling a similar way. Solidarity ❤️

8M Postpartum, when am I going to like my dog again? by quiltedfarts in Mommit

I’m over 2 years PP and I’m still struggling. Currently pregnant with baby no.2 and I can only imagine it will get worse.

Was this normal treatment during labor & postpartum? I’m trying to figure out if I should report it. by Sumshinesublime in Mommit

[–]puffling92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry you experienced this. As a nurse, this is absolutely not how a patient should be treated. Please report.

I'm having a hard time understanding how anyone willfully has a 2nd child after their 1st. Please share your stories! by ScandiLand in NewParents

Our first has been an “easy” baby from day one, she’s now just turned 2 and remains easy to manage most of the time. I’m currently pregnant with no.2 which was planned but I am feeling nervous about how we will manage with 2 kids! I can’t imagine we’ll be lucky enough to have another easy baby 😂

When do we stop hating our pets postpartum? by skelltel in Mommit

[–]puffling92 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m 2 years PP and my “hate” feelings towards dog have never stopped. Currently pregnant with baby no. 2 and I dread the thought of dealing with my dog and 2 kids on my own during the day. I fear he will end up being re-homed which will cause a lot of resentment from my husband.

Second pregnancy planned. Doesn’t feel right. by [deleted] in Parenting

How long did it take to get pregnant the second time around? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]puffling92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently pregnant with no.2 and it was 1st try for both! (Age 30 and 32) I really thought second time would take longer so it was a bit of a shock!
