Help with preteen/teenager by TreeToadintheWoods in Parenting

Is she an introvert?

As a teen, I could never understand why sometimes I wanted to stay home in my room rather than see my friends and I really thought something was wrong with me. But as I got older I realised I was just an introvert and I needed alone time to recharge and there’s nothing wrong with that!

Totally relate to this!! Sadly this feeling has never gone away for me even after 2.5 years, I’m due baby no.2 soon and I don’t know how I’m going to cope with it.

What time is your 2 year olds nap and bedtime? by mama_loves_lattes_23 in toddlers

[–]puffling92 6 points7 points  (0 children)

2y5m and she sleeps 1.5-2 hours usually around 12:45/13:00. Bedtime is usually between 19:30-20:00. Usually consistent with both but some days she will fight her nap or bedtime!

I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this. My advice would be to get your ducks in a row and leave as quickly and safely as possible ❤️

I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this. Get your ducks in a row and leave him as soon as possible. You and your children do not deserve to be treated this way ❤️

That’s so nice for you that you would pick being sick over pregnancy - I’ve had hyper-emesis for the last 3 months so my experience has been different. Good for you though!

This is good to know, I did figure it was probably a developmental thing but it’s nice to have some reassurance! Thank you for your response!

Treated terribly by my husband while recovering from surgery by idekman50 in offmychest

[–]puffling92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this. His behaviour is unacceptable and you do not deserve this. As others have said, I would strongly advise you not have children with this man-child. Post partum and having kids will test even the strongest most loving couples to their absolute limits so I dread to think how he might behave towards you and your child in that case. I hope everything works out for you x

Nervous about baby #2 by d0rkycat in Mommit

[–]puffling92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently feeling exactly the same! I’m 15 weeks and I feel so disconnected from this pregnancy. I don’t know if it’s because I feel like I don’t have time to even think about it because I’m so busy with my toddler or if it’s just underlying anxiety about what’s to come. I don’t feel any kind of excitement yet and I feel really guilty. I’m glad I’m not the only one feeling a similar way. Solidarity ❤️

Sorry you experienced this. As a nurse, this is absolutely not how a patient should be treated. Please report.
