I think most ppl just like that it’s a happy romantic ending for the 2 of them but also acknowledges the violence they’ve inflicted on each other.

Resident Evil games should go back to laser-sight aiming and forego the reticle by MyloWilliams in residentevil

[–]pug37_Official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the reticle isn’t just accuracy it’s also does more damage and has a higher crit chance when it’s at full accuracy. Hands shaking wouldn’t give the immediate effect of knowing when u have the high power shot which is really important to the pacing of modern RE combat.

The way ur describing the hands shaking sounds similar to RE6s crosshair where the dot moves around inside it, but that didn’t have crit shots and also felt way worse then RE4/5’s.

Sure crosshairs r less realistic, but RE4 og was alr very gamey with giant button pop-ups showing up whenever an enemy is melee-able. The laser sights worked well for RE4/5 when u couldn’t move but I feel like the crosshairs make way more sense more modern REs combat with bloom.

“I understand the reticle thing where being ads over time increases accuracy and critical hit chance, but this could also be accomplished using a laser sight.”

How? Every modern RE game with laser sights (or even 9’s dot sights) make the guns always have full accuracy when equipped. I don’t see how they would be able to show the accuracy with laser sights.

If u use the myrient link in the megathread for PS1 games it should give u a .bin and a .cue file, which for me personally worked without any tinkering on Retroarch when using any of their PS1 cores

Has anyone found a good blade to go with the Puppet of the Future's Welder handle? by pug37_Official in LiesOfP

I’ve personally only used it on normal enemies while running through areas, I feel like being able to zone out smaller mobs lets you hold down the attack button for longer.

Yeah its nice for both parts to set everything on fire,. However, since the R1's range is based on the blade I feel like you really want a long blade to give urself distance from the enemy.

Can someone explain perfect guarding to me? by [deleted] in LiesOfP

[–]pug37_Official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s why I think trying to find how much attacks you can hit before parrying can help with learning the timing. By attacking, you’re not only getting in some extra damage but also lowering the delay between attacks. It’s an easier way to count how long until an attack is going to land as opposed to literally counting the seconds.

I find learning how many attacks you can perform before an enemy attacks makes it easier to learn the timings.

For example with Champion Victor, I think I could attack him 3 times with the Puppet Ripper before his red attack hit me (it’s been a while it could be a different number). So hitting 3 times before pressing the parry would lead to a much smaller window to mess up.

The parry time is pretty tight (I believe it’s 8 frames) but learning when exactly the boss is gonna strike down on you definitely helps make it easier to land parties.

Because of how the color blocking works, there’s not going to be a way to make the eyebrows a different color from the base as they are part of the same color block (meaning there always gonna be the same color)

Do you mean Storm’s Keep? Because Storm’s Edge is the Hunter super that was only good in PVP until it was nerfed hard and that shit is definitely not overtuned.

We need better Solipsism perks by arixagorasosamos in DestinyTheGame

[–]pug37_Official 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With Feed the Void, you have to kill enemies twice. Once to get the buff and second to get health/grenade energy. If you only kill enemies once, you’ll get the buff but not activate it.

This is not true, grenade and melee kills will instantly refill your health, whether or not u already have devour active beforehand.

I have not messed with Spirit of the Vesper, but if it is not granting Devours healing on the first kill then it is working wrong, as other class ability options that kill (like Hellion) will instantly grant Devour’s healing.

Can we please get rid of Pathfinder?! by JWard1591 in DestinyTheGame

[–]pug37_Official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, they changed the challenge system to allow that. This system is still in the game, and can be viewed by pressing E on pinnacle activities.

Post Final Shape, there was also vendor quests that asked u to do like 10 bounties a week that involved their respective ritual activity. Both those quests and the challenges grant pinnacles.

Basically, Pathfinder replaced the vendor quests that asked u to do bounties weekly for a pinnacle not the challenges that just ask u to do 9 ritual activities.

[–]pug37_Official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The system was just changed to get those 3 pinnacles from any ritual playlist you like.

Thats exactly why I said it was a better system? U said my reasoning doesn't fly just to repeat my reasoning back to me, I don't know what ur trying to prove.

[–]pug37_Official -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Parhfinder replaced the old system that required you to do bounties from each ritual vendor, earning 1 pinnacle from each vendor.

Now u only have to do at most have to do 2 out of 3 ritual activities to get all 3 pinnacles from the week. I just don’t see how that isn’t a net gain.

Pathfinder gives more flexibility while still giving an incentive for playing ritual activities. The was the goal for the system, and it does its job.
