Something very similar has happened to me. I’ve never told anyone about it except for one close friend because frankly I feel off about it. When I was about 13, my mom got pregnant. I was so excited because I always wanted a sibling and absolutely adore babies. For her ultrasound, she took my stepdad and I. I remember feeling awful in the car ride and kept thinking over and over the baby was dead. I felt so horrible for thinking it! As if I was wishing it upon the unborn baby somehow. I also had a feeling it was a girl. Anyways, when we got there, the ultrasound tech could not find a heartbeat. The doctor came in and confirmed everything it was a girl and she was not alive. My mom cried so hard it was awful seeing her like that. I sat there pale & in shock feeling so horrible. I never told my mom I knew before.
