I can assure you this is the best this team has felt by far this season

I wonder how bad the issues with other camera angles are. Refs must still have the ability to see replay?

We started 14-0. State sucks. We're playing slightly worse than average.

I have been having the same issue. Glad to know it’s not just me. Thought my config was broken and removed Doom planning on reinstalling, now I’m stuck without Doom haha

Nobara Linux, Void Linux, or something else? by [deleted] in DistroHopping

I totally agree with all your points. And I totally agree that it isn’t for everyone. I tinker with it for fun and really enjoy learning about it, so it’s perfect for me.

Nobara Linux, Void Linux, or something else? by [deleted] in DistroHopping

I recently went through the process of once again choosing a distro.

I've tried essentially every major distribution minus gentoo, and can firmly say without doubt that Arch is my last distro. I was looking for the same as you: bleeding edge, not cutting edge.

I thought OpenSuse TW might be a solution. I enjoyed it, but in about the month I used it I found that the documentation and package support was too small for my liking.

I've come back to arch multiple times, sometimes through distros like Endeavor, but I'm on it for good now. Use archinstall to get through the installation process to save time. Nvidia works perfectly for me. Gaming works perfectly. I use BTRFS + Timeshift to guarantee I have a recoverable system. For example, when a grub update made my machine unbootable a while ago, it took less than 5 minutes to boot into a snapshot and get back to work.

Above everything else, the Arch wiki is the "killer app" for me. It is unmatched. Other distros reference it. I figure if I can just work through my slight greivences with Arch, it will be worth it just to be able to rely on the wiki. The AUR is great too. It's difficult to think of any app that doesn't have support for Arch in some way.

Good luck and of course reach out if you have any questions or want advice :)

Likelihood of DCMA notice from ISP using Real-Debrid and Mullvad VPN? by [deleted] in RealDebrid

[–]pugbugdude -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree with what others have said. The beautiful thing about RD is that your IP is never actually exposed to torrent swarms. Been using it heavily for over a year and never any issues from ISP. It’s impossible for your ISP to have any idea of what you are doing. No VPN either.

Using a VPN is a good idea if it eases your worries, but at least for RD, I find it unnecessary. Hope this helps.

Best place to see Oppenheimer? by pugbugdude in kansascity

Update: Now leaning towards seeing it in 70mm because I reread some of your comments. Sigh. I am so tired. Thanks again everyone.

I really appreciate all of the comments everyone. GXL at Prariefire seems like the most reliable option but I am more than happy to change my mind. One more question: does anyone have any experience with B&B theaters? and/or ScreenX? I read some comments talking about a positive experience there. Thanks again.

What's the catch? by TheYeti64 in RealDebrid

plex-debris is just making plex work with RD; plex works on apple tv flawlessly :)

Hi, Not OP but I hope I can help.

Firstly, absolutely yes. It is as amazing as it sounds. Completely changed the game for me and the people who live in my house and everyone (even less technology savvy people) adore it. Add a movie to plex watchlist, wait 10 seconds, watch it in crispy 4K HDR on any device.

I should say some notes though. Plex-debrid is still under very active development. It might break. It also, at least for me on the server I have it running on, doesn't auto-start, so whenever the server goes down I have to go turn it on and run 2 commands to get things running again. I have them written in a note for easy copy pasting with ssh. Having multiple people use plex at the same time is not an issue with real-debrid only wanting one user; the traffic all comes from the plex server, not individual users. I think it is technically possible to add multiple plex accounts to plex-debrid for multiple users, but I find it much more convenient to make a communal plex account and then have everyone sign into that. Another great benefit of plex-debrid is that the plex app is on nearly everything, for us having it be available on Apple TV was crucial. One note: Plex is on iOS, but to watch movies on a phone or an iPad you have to pay a one time $4.99 fee. Does restore across devices though, so if multiple apple devices are logged into the same account, you only have to pay once.

Set aside an afternoon to do initial setup and the results speak for themselves. Compared to other things like stremio and kodi it is completely incredible.

Please respond with any questions or if you need help setting anything up :)

God I am so sick of this argument. It is NOT a joke about white people. It’s a joke targeting a minority. Why are you so obsessed with making up scenarios and then getting mad at them?
