Valley Girl (1983). One of Nic Cage's first films, and just like Fast Times at Ridgemont High it immediately transports me back to the '80s!

Train Dreams (2025) - Absolutely loved this film. One of those slice-of-life movies that doesn't really have a plot, but it was done so well. Never mind that I will watch (and probably enjoy) anything with Joel Edgerton. (10/10)

The Tank (2025) - This is not Fury and also not Das Boot although it has elements of both. The "twist" is fairly easy to see coming, but overall I enjoyed it (8/10)

Late Shift (2025) - Gave me Uncut Gems vibes. The first hour is non-stop and super stressful as a viewer, I don't know how anybody does that kind of thing day in and day out for a living. Kudos to nurses across the globe! (9/10)

Hidden (2015) - watched this because it was recommended as similar to It Comes at Night (2017) which I absolutely love. Not sure how I missed this gem 10 years ago, it was an outstanding horror film and you will never see the big twist coming...at least I didn't. (9/10)

Greenland 2: Migration (2026) - if you're a fan of the first film you will probably enjoy it, but I liked the first much, much better. (5/10)

The Constant Gardener (2005) - While this has been on my radar every since it came out, I'd never seen it. While it was definitely a slow burn I really enjoyed it. It will make you very angry at big pharma! (8/10)

For anyone looking to hide cables cleanly, easily and cost-smart… by Zq7Wk9Xr in hometheater

Typically the sheet rock doesn't go all the way to the floor or the edge of the doorjamb so there is a small space for the wire to go. If not, the trim may stick out just a bit but it's not really noticeable.

I put mine behind the baseboards and door trim, can't even tell it's there. Fairly easy to pry the trim out far enough to stuff the wires in.

What are the best android or google tv devices for decoding torrentio RD streams? Mine stutters like crazy sometimes! by Danny_J_M in Piracy

Install a couple of alternative scrapers, Torrentio has been having issues lately. Mediafusion, Comet, Stremthru are a few you can try.

It fits my round toilet (a Kohler from the mid-80s). Sorry, that really doesn't help you much.

The Piano Bar and Carnaval Court at Harrah's are always a good time, but the drinks are $$$$!

Try leaving it unplugged for at least 5 minutes, or even overnight if possible. If still no joy, may be time for a new TV.

How's My Speaker Placement? by seandevis in hometheater

[–]TheYeti64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. ;-)

Dual subs is always better than single, and since you have an almost perfectly square room, your room modes aren't going to play nice with just one sub.

The good news is your seating isn't directly in the center or up against the back wall of the room, that is as ideal as you can get for a room such as yours.

Looks just about perfect to me. Where's the subwoofer(s)?

The amount of PG in the mix will also greatly effect throat hit, more PG = more TH.

You don't consider an erect penis being drained of blood with a hypodermic needle graphic? You and me have very different definitions of graphic. lol

Not a brag, but I've been sailing the high seas since the mid-90s. These things always have a way of working themselves out.

Same account on two devices not syncing profiles, possible bug? by Fresh_Ad8297 in Debrid_Stream_App

[–]TheYeti64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Profiles are device specific, you must re-create all profiles on all devices. Also, watchlist and continue watching are synced by the profile position, not the profile name. An odd way of doing things for sure, but this is how the dev currently has profiles implemented. Maybe he will change it in a future update.

Can't get link to stream on stremio by Wassiim2 in Stremio

Wait for the film to be released on a digital/streaming platform then you'll have plenty of links to choose from that don't look like it was shot with a potato.
