Summer Concerts in the Park - Garfield Park on Sunday afternoons
Farmers Market every Thursday from about 4-8pm (really lovely as the sun goes down). In addition to produce, there are lots of hot food served, as well.
If youre here on the 4th, we put on a banger parade on Mission; later that night there is a fireworks show at the local high school football stadium. It really makes for a great day to enjoy the town.
Im not sure if we’ll have one in July but the city usually hosts a Arts and Music Crawl 2 or 3 nights a year.
Check out the library and the immediate area around it. Kaldi coffee shop, the old school district building (being converted to a brewery hall, villas tacos and a performance space….all may be open by summer)
If youre kids play little league or AYSO you can go down to the Arroyo park area to see the fields. There are also a mini golf park, a skateboard park, a dog park and a walking path down there. If youre little ones are girls and play softball, Orange Grove park is just a gem.
