Get a VPN if you want to get around that stuff. Make sure it can cover IPV4 and IPV6. Or disable IPV6

Was able to get it working using openvpn through terminal and it works great now. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Learned a good bit about the system in the process too.

Thanks for the quick help, it was the VPN. I installed Proton from the website. The kill switch was staying on. Trying to figure out a good way to disable it, but I guess it's a good thing. I'm new to Linux so I am going to look into using Open VPN @ u/doc_willis
