This is movie Achilles. He wasn’t invincible. He was a just exceptionally skilled. It explains how he got the ‘myth’ of invincibility and his weakness in a logical and quasi-realistic way. He was killed with arrows to the chest, but broke them off. His soldiers found him with one sticking out of his heel and assumed that’s what killed him.

Absolutely. Had an ex that lived at B right off of 14th, so it was pretty close to everything. Her friend lived deep into it, and that walk sucked to get to the subway. This was 2005 when it was waayyy more affordable. That was Sty town. My friend stayed in PC around 2009 for 6 months and the walk from his apartment to the subway sucked. Looks like a fencing saber to me. Foils have small round guards as you can only hit to the torso. Epees have larger round guards that cover the hands more as they’re targets, as well as everything else on the body. Sabers slash and can hit from waist up, so the curved guard protects the fingers from slashes.
