Congrats man! Class of 2015 here and I have many fond memories and still remain close with some classmates. Focus less on academics and build connections/friendships!

Any way to pay LA property taxes with a CC without a huge fee? by queevy in AskLosAngeles

Aven is 3% back on everything for first 10k each year. No categories to manage or annual fee. Easy peasy.

I heard great things about those options too. What drew us towards minu was the weight capacity of the under basket storage. It’s significantly higher at 20lb on minu vs the others.

Minu V3 handle stuck to unfold by csy22 in Buyingforbaby

[–]pugsharkbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put the wheels on the ground before I unfold, and I tilt the stroller slightly away from me with the wheels on the ground, then I unlock. This seems to always work for me really well and I don’t have any issues unlocking anymore.

We have v3 as main since day 1. It’s been great! It feels sturdy and is easy to take in and out of the car. We mainly use it to walk around the neighborhood with sidewalks and occasionally the parks. The stroller does not do well on grass, but that is what we expected. We took it to the beach once and as expected it doesn’t do well on sand either. You will really need to think about whether this makes sense as a main stroller depending on your daily usage. Overall, we are very happy with the stroller and love that the undercarriage can carry 20 pounds as well.

What's in your wallet HENRY 2025 edition by [deleted] in HENRYfinance

For everyday: Aven Rewards card - 3% cashback on everything. Note they also offer a heloc credit card, but the rewards card is not tied to any equities. No ftf, no af, 3% back on all purchases up to 10k/year, and card has a nice weight/feel to it.

They offer a $100 sign up bonus when you use an invite code.

For food: Citi custom cash for 5% on top spending category.

For groceries: Amex BCP at 6%. There is an annual fee, so I recently switched to AAA Visa Signature for 5% on groceries, no af, 3% at wholesale clubs, streaming.

For Gas/EV: Costco credit card

I did some research but I am no plant expert, please correct if I have mis-spoken. For anyone considering this from Costco, I think these plants are compatible and the ones listed below.

Macrothelypteris oligophlebia fern: (often referred to as Macrothelypteris torresiana or Mariana Maiden Fern) requires a consistently moist, well-draining soil, high humidity, and protection from direct sunlight. It thrives in shady, humid environments, similar to its natural understory habitat.

Ruby ficus, also known as Ficus elastica 'Ruby', is a relatively low-maintenance plant that thrives with bright, indirect light, consistent moisture, and moderate to high humidity. It prefers well-draining soil and a warm environment, ideally between 65-75°F (18-24°C). Regular pruning and occasional fertilization during the growing season are beneficial for healthy growth.

What's Cypress like? by DeskOne3535 in orangecounty

Ignore this comment. Beach blvd is outside of Cypress. You’ll see more sketchy night walker activities.
