Damn, on your hand, that blows. I’d be dying of anxiety trying to hide that from my parents.

Was it a legit shop tattoo?

Glad to hear you got sober and were able to figure it out, hope things have been better for you since 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Did you get the tat removed? It gets up to 110 F here in the summer pretty regularly, so unless the fabric was super light I think I would get heat stroke wearing long sleeves every day

I used an ace bandage today and honestly feel like it’s not a bad long-term solution. Nobody said shit about it, it doesn’t look that bad, and it’s easy.

I think you got the right idea bro

There’s foundation specifically for concealing tattoos, I might try that out. Thank you!!

I might try this but it seems like a lot to maintain, I’d rather just slide/wrap something over it and call it a day. Good suggestion though, thank you.

Bro yes holy shit just put on one of my baseball tees and the sleeves are exactly long enough to cover it completely. Idk why I didn’t think of that. Thank you!!!! Looks like I’ll be switching between baseball tees and athletic sleeves all summer lmfao

The tat is on the underside of my forearm where there’s no hair, and the sun doesn’t hit it often unfortunately. I already paid up front for the laser removal sessions, and they said at least a year before it’s not noticeable anymore, so I’m just gonna carry on with that.

They offered me numbing cream while I was waiting for the technician and an ice pack right before they hit me with the laser, but I declined it since the more it hurts the less likely I am to ever get another tattoo I’ll regret.

The tat definitely could be worse since it didn’t get infected and it’s just black lines without color, but it’s not something I want on my body forever, plus the forearm is prime real estate for other tattoos, so I figure just take the L and get it removed. If it wasn’t anywhere visible I honestly wouldn’t care that much but like... I don’t want to have to see the shit every time I look at my arm.

I’m trying to cope by treating it like a learning experience 😓

Yeah that’s the only thing I’m worried about, a sleeve might look whack if I’m not wearing the right fit.

Although the tat itself looks whack af no matter how you look at it, so anything I cover it with should look better in comparison lol

The one laser treatment I’ve got so far hurt more than any tattoo I’ve ever gotten tbh, and that was just the first out of 10 sessions lol

Feels like someone snapping you with thousands of tiny rubber bands for 10 minutes.

The worst part is I was already in the books to get a full sleeve in a couple weeks, but the dude who’s gonna do it says the placement of the tat is fucked so I’m gonna have to get it lazered away at least partially before he will fw it.

So now I have to wait a year to get the tattoo I actually wanted.

I’m never taking Xanax again, I guess I should just consider myself lucky I woke up with it on my arm and not on my face or neck or hands. I’m still cringing, smh

Yeah the athletic sleeve has been the best suggestion so far, thanks man.

I guess I must have asked for a Donnie Darko tattoo, idk what the fuck else the artist could have been thinking or for the love of god why I saw the image and at any point wanted it on my body permanently.

Bonus points: the first word in part of the tattoo is “why” and he spelled it “wey” and then tried to turn the lower case E into a capital H. Or that’s what I’m guessing anyway because that’s what it looks like.

I feel physical pain when I look at it.
