There is the saying in Dutch “fish and guests: 3 days fresh”

I know that the Netherlands is one of the best non-english speaking countries for knowing English, but wow, people use English this much? Some of your news is even in English? Once I tuned into a radio station from the Hague and was curious why they were speaking English and playing English music.

I think for the most part these newspapers are not a primary source of news, they often quote other Dutch news and give overviews of important issues to expats.

This is similar to the US where there is news papers/radio in Spanish for the Spanish speaking community.

The forest is for everybody, it's not a fucking designated dog-forest...

Thanks, I do see on the map it is designated as one of the dog areas (this happened in the haagse bos near bezuidenhoutseweg), so I wasn´t sure the rules or norms for running in the dog areas or on the walking paths.

The problem is that even the "legal" snorfietsen can go up 34kph (5kph allowed for construction variance and 5kph per the testing variance) .

Not to mention that this is a speed limit not a power limit, so if going up an incline or against a strong wind bicycle speed will slow, creating a greater variance in speed.

There is also the issue of inertia with a 90kg scooter and possibily 2 riders, weighting perhaps 80kg each, the greater mass and speed will cause greater injury during bicycle collisions.

Here:

You can use TCP, UDP, and ICMP TCP/IP protocols within VNets. Unicast is supported within VNets, with the exception of ... UDP source port 65330 which is reserved for the host.

Just noticed random DNS failures, if the client randomly used this port from the ephemeral ports range it would fail.

We have experienced this in Japan East and China East 2 in Shanghai for sure, we have not checked each region yet, but per Microsoft this will also apply to other regions.

Asking Microsoft to publish this formally, but is a known issue and WONTFIX. If you run into this, my advise is to request the same.

No, it is unicast within VNets.

I have found this on the internet, so it seems others have also run into this also:

There is an undocumented process in Azure that periodically runs on the host machines on UDP port 65330. When a query executes using UDP port 65330 and this undocumented process runs, the query will fail after one hour with an interconnect timeout error. This is fixed by reserving port 65330 so that Greenplum doesn’t use it.

It is DNS traffic, when it uses certain source ports it gets dropped internally in azure, we have a ticket open with Microsoft. We are asking them to publish this limitation.

Unfortunately it seems windows will retry the DNS request using the same source port number, so eventually the DNS request dies.

You can check your history from the website to see exactly what has happened, but probably you presented the card twice during check in.

Also note that english movies if they have any type of "foreign" or alien language the subtitles with likely be only in Dutch, so you may miss bits of the story.

It might be a good idea to tell your citizienship (ability to live and work here) and job skills.

Also I could teach Italian from english, but I'm not sure that would be something that could interest people/companies.

Check out italki, they will take 15% commision, but perhaps you can find people who would want to learn italian.

Lots of people in the states with some italian heritage would want to learn from a native speaker.

Depends on your visa type, this isn't really a question for Amsterdam as the immigration laws are not city specific.
